The sweater is knitted top down in Poppy or Kos.

The front and back pieces are worked in the round to under the sleeves. The sleeves are worked from the bottom up separately, before being joined to the front and back pieces. When the piece is on the same needle, it is worked in the round and cast off for raglan. Finally, the neckline is worked in rib and folded double towards the wrong side.
