Stockholm Slipover - Paper

Stockholm Slipover is knitted from the top down. First the back, then the shoulders and front, and finally the body. To get a good fit, Stockholm Slipover has a shoulder slope formed by using shortened rows (turning rows) on the shoulders. Along the neckline and armholes, rib edges are knitted and cast off with a tight Italian cast-off.

Knit a test piece before you start – it is important for the shoulder width that the knitting tension is adhered to.

Size guide

Stockholm Slipover should have a positive ease of movement of approx. 6 cm in relation to your chest measurement. The sizes XS (S) M (L) XL (2XL) 3XL correspond to a chest measurement of 80-85 (85-90) 90-95 (95-100) 100-110 (110-120) 120-130 cm. Measure yourself before you start knitting to assess which size will fit you best. For example, if you measure 90 cm around your chest (or the widest part of your upper body), you should knit size S, which has a chest width of 96 cm.

The Stockholm Slipover is knitted with decreases on the sides of the body. If your chest is not the widest part of your body, you can omit these decreases on the body.
