The sizes XS (S) M (L) XL (2XL) 3XL correspond to a chest measurement of 80-85 (85-90) 90-95 (95-100) 100-110 (110-120) 120-130 cm. Measure yourself with a tape measure around your chest (or where you are widest) before you start knitting, to assess which size will fit you best. For example, if you measure 92 cm around your chest, you should knit size M.
