The North Sea Set - Paper

The Vesterhavs set consists of a hat and scarf. The hat has a wide rib with a fold at the bottom, while the top is stockinette stitch. The scarf is knitted as a long tube that is sewn together at the ends – that way the scarf has neither a front nor a back.

Sizes: The hat fits head circumferences 54-58 cm. The scarf is barely 2 m long and 23 cm wide.

Knitting strength:

Hat: 23 stitches x 32 rows in stocking stitch with double thread on 3 mm needles = 10 x 10 cm

Scarf: 28 stitches x 38 rows in stocking stitch with single thread on 3 mm needles = 10 x 10 cm

Recommended needles: Circular needle size 3 mm (40 cm). Double pointed needles size 3 mm.

Materials: Sunday from Sandnes Garn (50 g = 235 m) or Arwetta from Filcolana (50 g = 210 m)

The hat requires approximately 80 g of yarn (in the picture is Sunday from Sandnes Garn in the color Croissant)

The scarf uses 300 g of yarn (pictured is Sunday from Sandnes Garn in the colors Banana, Støvet Lilla, Croissant, That Orange Feeling, Whipped Cream and Camel)

The scarf in Arwetta Classic from Filcolana (with the turquoise color) is knitted in Aqua 197, Chock Orange 252, Mustard 136 and Blue Nights 195.
